The Max Kade Institute is dedicated to researching the story of German-speaking immigrants and their descendants in a global, muticultural, and interdisciplinary context. Our resources are used by students and scholars in many fields, from across the nation and around the world. In addition, by encouraging the public dissemination of scholarly research, we serve as a bridge between the University and the community in the spirit of the Wisconsin Idea.
