“Neighbors Past and Present” at the Spring Valley (Wisconsin) Public Library

In September 2019, “Neighbors Past and Present” was hosted by the Spring Valley (Wisconsin) Public Library. The display was integrated into the small library space. The library organized several events in conjunction with the exhibit. They included an “Oktober Fest” with German-American foods and music, and a lecture by MKI Director Mark Louden on “Who Are the Amish?”. Spring Valley is located near several Amish settlements and some Plain community members attended the lecture.
