This all-day workshop will be conducted by Lori Bessler, Reference Librarian for the Wisconsin Historical Society (WHS) Library Archives, and Antje Petty, Assistant Director of the Max Kade Institute. You will learn how to find your family’s place in the historical context of emigration from German-speaking Europe; discover online tools to find your ancestors in American and European records, learn how to use English and German historic documents, and receive tips on how to organize your research.
