- Overview of German-language resources in America, including resources at the Max Kade Institute
- “Finding Documents in Germany/ Europe, Online and Off:” overview of archival, communal, and church based resources
- “Working with historic (German) documents:” strategies to efficiently interpret different types of historic German documents, even if you do not speak the language and cannot read the script
