SUPPORT the Max Kade Institute LIBRARY PROJECT CAMPAIGN!

In 2011, the Max Kade Institute received a National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant to support the renovation of a new Library and to establish an endowment for the MKI Librarian and Archivist position. We have reached four fifth of our matching goal. Please help us raise the final $100,000 by donating to the

Max Kade Institute Librarian Support Fund.

Don’t forget: Gifts can be made in honor or in memory of a special friend or relative.

To show our appreciation for donations to our Library Project Campaign, we invite you to name a part of our library!

Make the Max Kade Institute Library a Part of Your Family's History

  • Adopt a book: choose your favorite publication in the MKI collection and have a nameplate added to the book ($200–$500)
  • Adopt a state in the Published in America (PIA) Collection: the MKI’s PIA collection is organized by state. Put your name on the shelf of your favorite state: ($500-$5,000)
  • Sponsor a Collection, such as the North American Dialect Collection, Carl Schurz Collection, or Family History Collection ($5,000 - $10,000)
  • Name a room ($10,000 - $20,000)

Additional naming opportunities exist. Please inquire!

Your support in securing our future is deeply appreciated. Please contact us with questions, ideas, and suggestions.
